MEET THE NOTARY

Hello, I'm Christine!

I’m the founder of CAC Notary Services, proudly serving Volusia County and surrounding areas. Originally from Miami and a proud University of Florida alumna, I bring a strong professional background in corporate America, where I built my career in

Supply Chain Management.

In 2023, I embraced a new direction and earned my Florida Notary Commission, followed by my Remote Online Notary (RON) certification in early 2024. This shift allowed me to combine my passion for precision, professionalism, and service into a more flexible and meaningful career.

I’m NNA and LSS certified, bonded, E&O insured and background screened through both NNA and Aspen Grove. As a bilingual notary, I am proud to serve a diverse community with clarity and respect. Whether you're signing important legal documents or finalizing a real estate transaction, I ensure the process is smooth, secure, and stress-free.

Thank you for considering CAC Notary Services. I look forward to earning your trust and becoming your go-to notary professional.

Frequently Asked Questions

At CAC Notary Services, we believe in making things simple and stress-free. Whether you're preparing for a loan signing, need a document notarized, or require an apostille for international use, we’re here to guide you every step of the way. Below are answers to the questions we hear most often—so you can feel confident and prepared before we even arrive.

Question 1: What is a mobile notary?

A mobile notary is a commissioned notary public who travels to your location to notarize documents. This convenient service saves you time and ensures your documents are notarized properly.

Question 2: What types of ID are accepted for notarization?

A valid and unexpired government-issued photo ID is required. This includes a driver’s license, state ID, passport, or military ID.

Question 3: What areas do you serve?

We proudly serve Volusia County and surrounding areas. Remote online services are available for clients across Florida and beyond.

Question 4: What do I need to prepare for a notary appointment?

You’ll need:
– A valid Photo ID: Each signer must present a valid, unexpired government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport, state ID).
– Unsigned Documents: Do not sign your documents in advance. The notary must witness all signatures during the appointment.
– All Required Signers Present: Make sure everyone who needs to sign is present, alert, and willing to sign.
– Complete Documents: All documents must be fully filled out, except for signature and notary sections. We cannot notarize blank or incomplete forms.

– Witnesses (if required): Some documents require one or more witnesses. Let us know in advance—we can provide witnesses for an additional fee if needed.

– Payment: Be prepared to pay the agreed service fee via cash, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or CashApp.

Question 5: What is a loan signing agent?

A loan signing agent is a notary public trained to handle and notarize loan documents, typically for real estate transactions such as home purchases, refinances, and HELOCs.

Question 6: How long does a loan signing appointment take?

Most signings take about 45–60 minutes, depending on the type of loan and number of documents.

Question 7: Do you explain the documents during the signing?

While I am not an attorney and cannot give legal advice, I am trained to present each document, highlight key areas for signatures, and answer general signing process questions.

Question 8: What is an apostille?

An apostille is a certificate that authenticates the origin of a public document for use in a foreign country. It’s often needed for international adoptions, dual citizenship, marriages abroad, or foreign business dealings.

Question 9: What documents can be apostilled?

Common documents include birth certificates, marriage certificates, diplomas, power of attorney forms, and corporate documents.

Question 10: How long does the apostille process take?

Processing times vary by state and document type, but expedited options may be available. We’ll walk you through the timeline based on your specific needs.

Question 11: What is remote online notarization?

Remote Online Notarization allows your documents to be notarized via a secure video call, no matter where you are, as long as you have a valid ID and internet connection.

Question 12: Is remote notarization legal in Florida?

Yes! Florida allows commissioned notaries to perform notarizations online for both in-state and out-of-state signers.

Question 13: What do I need for a remote notarization?

You’ll need:
– A valid ID
– A computer or mobile device with a camera
– Internet access
– Access to email to receive the notarized document
